The Evolution of the Binary Categorization System
The categorization instinct evolved to make the world a simpler place in order to make it predictable. What we need what most things have an optimal number of categories in any particular kind of context or or milieu. So you've got seven colors of the rainbow that our eyes can see when we stand back. Actually, there are no lines between red and yellow or orange and green or whatever. It's just what our brains perceive. And our brains basically again to simplify things have evolved the ability to see in the West anyway some culture they're actually different to see seven colors.
