ARDS in Pregnant Women?

ARDS is 10 times more common in pregnant patients. Causes can include things like amiotic fluid embolism, OB-specific sepsis and other medical disorders. I always pre-oxygenate with the head of the bed at 30 degrees. It's safe to use RSI rapid sequence and rockuronium and accommodate are both safe to use during pregnancy.
