The Importance of Performance Reviews

Libby: I think sometimes that anxiety comes from an environment where maybe that's not happening and it feels like everything is coming at once. The more often we can say to the folks who are expecting a performance evaluation, 'I am not going to surprise you' Dave: Recruitment landscape is a difficult one right now; how do we invest in our current staff? Libby: As a supervisor, have I done everything that I can to make sure that this person can be successful? If not, then that performance review is also a reflection of me as the supervisor.
