The Death of Aaron
Aaron dies there at the of 123, forty years after the departure from egypt. The wilderness wanderings are about to conclude and the conquest of the land about to begin. Israel, like the manslayer, is in a sort of exile until the exodus. Why single out the death of aaron? We might find something of an answer in a few chapters time.
