Judge Mershan's Encouraging Weisselberg to Become a Government Witness

Judge Mershan was the same judge who presided over the Trump Organization trial that resulted in the 17-count conviction against the Trump Organization. Alan Weisselberg ultimately ended up entering into a plea deal, essentially, where he agreed to testify truthfully. A judge often gives information like what's your exposure if you're convicted and what could you get and et cetera. But by also telling somebody what they're facing, that's not in any way urging them to become a government witness.
