The History of Copyright

CNN.com's John Sutter asks readers to create their own photo prompts for a new series of iReporter challenges. This week, Jarrett ponders the history of copyright and how we've been in these same situations time and time again. What you actually do is you put in a prompt of 50 or 100 words that people use to describe 50s and 60 sports cars. But if I were to say, like, make me an aircraft designed by sit-run, I'll see there's a lot of abstraction between those two questions.
