The Importance of Language in Relationships
When I went back to Nigeria last year, when I came back from Nigeria, I felt more British because even though I was born in Nigeria. And that's something that many black Americans would feel if they do decide to say move to Africa. When you spend time with any group of people repeatedly over and over, you develop your own kind of language. Those connected stories in which everyone knows the names, the places, the events that you're referencing is culture.
