Ash Wednesday and Lent
As a kid lent and Ash Wednesday more to me, I kind of just understood it as like a time to be somber. My parents placed a very high premium on prayer, which has always been a part of my life. Lent is the season that follows Epiphany. The season of Epiphany is about reflecting on what it means that God made Himself manifest.
