What Is a Concept?

A concept is aggregated information in memory about some kind of thing. Our brain naturally divides the world into categories, chairs, tables, birds, peates, apples. And a concept can be thought of as the knowledge that you've rude about one of those categories. So when you see another chair, your concept of her chair becomes bound to it. When we see a chair, we know exactly how it can be relevant for us.
