What's the Problem With JavaScript?
The problem here is just too much JavaScript, right? Like all the popular tools that we've been using for the past decade or so have been developing kind of desktop first. And if you look at the 2010, 11, 12, 13 moment of frameworks coming in from the cold as like this brave new way to do everything. They had mostly been built in a desktop first world. The mobile web was not a sidelight at the moment,. At the time, like post 2008 post iPhone, like mobile users were a real thing.
