The RCM's Will Go All the Way
I expect this is not one where they'll kind of say, okay, we'll fight this as long as it doesn't go about this budgeted amount. This will go all the way. I do not know enough about their chances. We know that any kind of action like this, any kind of civil action against the police, you were dealing with an entity that's going to respond with a kind of scorched earth policy. There are precedents for that sort of thing, for who's bringing the fight. In this case, it's the journalist bringing the fight in order to set a precedent. That's happened a number of times before.
