The Value of Having a Garden

i've spent a lot of my life on farms, so i've kind of always had an appreciation for how much work it is. Even if those things don't involve a crunch in the food supply lines, the connections you make with people doing that sort of work will be more valuable than an extra two months of stock piles. I think also, there could, certainly local systems and some flexible scale would be really important to get us through this period.
