The Tom Woods Show
00:00
The Tree on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons
The book is a 350-page history of nuclear weapons and their use. The author argues that they are necessary to fend off the reds backwin, but can't be permanent state of affairs for next 75 years or 700 years. He says mutually sure destruction works great until the day it fails - then we're talking about billions of people dying around the world. "It's much more just kind of a history" than an overtonian argument," he said.
