I find COVID fascinating from a clinician perspective and a research perspective that I'm like wow how clever is this thing yeah exactly a hundred percent. One of the greatest advancements we've actually staying from a clinicians perspective all the microbiome is developing advanced sequencing methods of the microbiome so we can actually have a comprehensive understanding of what the microbiome does now. For the very first time we have access to this high-end sequencing method in clinical practice where we can identify species which have never been identified in research. With this information we can actually develop personalized treatment recommendations for our patients because we know exactly what's happening within our gut. This concept of testing it feeds into this old school outdated method of weed feed
