The Truth About Capital Markets
I've been an investor since I was 15 years old. We didn't know we were going to create a real estate finance company. If our stock markets worked the following way, our public stock markets, that you can invest in the stock market. But the only way you could do it is through my mutual fund or their index fund and some structure like that. That is not true in private capital markets. And we give people the freedom to do that to choose what they own. Now that's sad because as an investor, you can stand back and look at the $2 trillion that was pumped through regulation de offerings over the last year or two.
