The Effects of an Annual Paywall on Conversion Rates
A lot of experiments focused on acquisition. Unfortunately, we did two more within the program,. But it was just the ease of implementation since we were already working quite a bit on the paywall and value propositions for our readers. The annual offer failed to produce an uplift, but was quite helpful in terms of learning something about our users. We found out that this annual offer actually does not beat our regular offer with these more short term offers because we have so much higher conversions.
