The History of Christmas in Northern California
I remember thinking like, Oh gosh, it's time to decorate for Christmas. And then when you're actually doing it every, you know, your dad's over there yelling about the sideways tree. We would build our own Christmas tree by chopping down because redwood tree branches would be like 20 to 30 feet. I grew up and it has this huge dining room area with like a 30 foot ceiling. So we would get like 20 foot redwood branches and take wires and wrap them together.
