The Relationship Between the Teacher and the Pupil
Dale: I think this is a fundamental flaw in modern education, that it's not developing a relationship in the student's mind with the inform on. And when you can create a dynamic between the information and the student, you are bringing them into the inheritance of human achievement. So now the body of knowledge that they're being exposed to is organically growing,. Is sort of like ball bearings in a wheel or something. i think oakshot's got his finger on that in a really deep and wise ways.
