The Key Delegates to the Second Wheeling Convention

After the Virginia statewide referendum, delegates reconvene at a federal customs house in downtown Wheeling. This is where much of the organized structure of what's going to take place is going to get off the ground. The key figure who comes out of this convention and who is probably the key figure we're going to talk about moving forward is Francis Pierpont. He actually went to college with another delegate to these conventions, a minister named Gordon Battelle whom we'll mention here as well.
