The Sandy Hook School Shooting

It's the deadliest school shooting since sandy hook elementary in newtown, connecticut, almost ten years ago. Senator chris murphy spoke on the senate floor yesterday just hours afte the shooting. Murphy repeated asked his colleagues, what are we doing at this point? Not even half way into 20 22, there've been more than 200 mass shootings in america. Many republicans prefer to turn the focus away from laws restricting guns.
