Tateshell Is a Place Where the Bull Gaiters, Beller and the Panthers Squall

The legend goes that in the year 18 75, there was a homesteader named c b. Tate who had staked a claim for a ranch in the pan handle of florida. And one morning he discovers that a panther has mauled several of his cows. So he sets off in the forest with his hunting dogs and the implements of death - an old long tom shotgun and a sharp barlow knife. But tate himself falls behind, and he gets separated from his hunting dog. He's wandering in the swampy forest, and he getting lost, and at some point he gets bitten by a snake, and he loses his gun.
