In 1994, Ross Perot got one of the biggest third party votes in American political history. And both parties were trying to figure out how do we get us that perot vote? There really was this desire for reform, for doing something about the way that government worked and the contract with America. Even if the specific issues weren't all 60% issues, we're tapping into that underlying discontent.
