Game intelligence is an area that fascinates me as a sport psychologist. It's not often spoken about by coaches, other than possibly some coaches historically to say, decision making, you can't teach that. There isn't actually a formal definition of game intelligence in terms of what it actually constitutes. Most of the research work has actually non anticipation. How do people decide what opponents are going to do? To read the game, if you like. Theres ten slightly lesser research work on decision making per se. And recently, there's been increasingly little bit more work on creative so the assumption here is that anticipation and creativity would be part of game intelligence.
