The drink represents his blood. It's to remind you that being in a relationship with Jesus doesn't have an expiration date. He is fasting from this, till he drinks with us when he returns. But one day in heaven, they are going to toast. Hold up our cups as Jesus stands at the right hand of the Father. And he's going to stand for the first time and he'll hold up his cup of wine.
