The Tension of Being an Intellectual

Since his book came out, I've been asked to be on several podcasts. For the first time, I will be doing a television interview about my research in about a week for a television channel in Spain. So at that point, it does feel a little weird to take on the category and the label. Unless the most intellectual move is to deny that you are an intellectual.
