North America is not the only place to have legends of a large ape like creature roaming the wilderness. Similar stories and sitingsh have arisen pendently all over the world. Three men reported seeng something strange while driving in rural queensland, Australia. They hade been making their way home from work through the remote town of jimna when they saw what they described as a slouched over figure underneath a street light. Initially believing it to be a bore or something similar, they were astonished when it stood up on two legs and bolted away in an ape like manner.
