The Sustainability Revolution Will Have to Be Loved

In her first book, Limits to Growth published in 1972, Don Ella assumed like I did when I first became a politician that if you give people the evidence, they'll understand it. But she had identified in the book that there were some other elements that kept coming up in her dialogue with people about change. And so it's, you know, you've got to have a vision thing. You've got a network. You’ve got to collaborate with other people. You have to be prepared to tell truth to power and learn from each other and love. The sustainability revolution will have to be above all a collective transformation that permits the best of human nature rather than the worst
