The Pain Points of Early Career Science?
Academic science is a ridiculously competitive field. In the US biomedical sciences, it's something like 1% of first-year PhD students end up being research professors. If you are to share a pre-print or talk about your work in the open before it's actually published in a peer-reviewed journal, I think there's not going to be able very reasonably or hesitant to do so. So yeah, I think in general there's a reasonable hesitance towards Web3 and then also towards academic activities outside of the standard path towards having an academic research career.
