The Importance of Social Location in Biblical Interpretation
If the Bible is written by a people who are long oppressed to others who are not, then maybe other voices should be prioritized. There's an over-creaction that I see happening in certain white spaces. Some white Christians are so caught up in their guilt of their own failures or the failures of their ancestors. They just find a black voice and amplify it. What I'm saying is deserve that their scholarship warns critique but it also offers real analysis. The Black academy steps on the step of the black women of color for example.
