The Importance of Sound Design in the Second Renaissance
The animatrix is the anime version of Matrix stuff. There's a scene where like the UN decides that they're going to black out the sky, I think, to attack the machines. And then you see the humans become skeletons clapping and it was like that always stuck in my head that like humans might like applaud their own destruction. It reminded me so much of this scene where Oppenheimer is going into this room, everyone's hearing and the sound design of that scene is incredible.
