The Caveat With Bitcoin Nodes

You're relying on the same checks that normal Bitcoin nodes do anyway. And in that scenario, you would see people fall out of sync. But as long as you're connected to a P2P network where you have at least a single, at least one on a spear, then you can receive a chain state proof for the state that they believe in. That's pretty much more caveat. It's just pointed it out because in an earlier talk, I confused someone and they got really mad at me for saying that it would prove all consensus rules even though it cannot verify the longest chain rule.
