The Different Types of Stroke
In both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, cerebral otter regulation like we talked about is disordered. We want to let pressures run, run high so the brain gets more oxygen. But if systolic blood pressure rates again go really high, there's a chance that those high pressures will then actually worsen the hemorrhagic injury. And hematoma expansion remains our kind of primary target for reducing or improving functional outcomes.
