Personality typing is a tool that has helped me over the years. The goal is to find the preferences of your manager so you can approach them in the way they best able to understand what you're saying. i start with myers briggs, and i move to something called the cusey temperament sorter. I turn out to test very high on the intuitive scale. If none of this works for you, that's fine; if any of it's useful, great. Do with it what you will. A some really interesting points here.
