"I started noticing that a lot of them were the things that followed really directly from Joseph Campbell's outline of the hero's journey. And also what I realized was my favorite version of the Legend of Zelda series the one I hope they turn into to a movie was Zelda linked to the past," he said. "And as I collected and connected the dots I realized that that's what Alison Wonderland is about, Wizard of Oz is about you know." He then began projecting those tropes onto his daily project which eventually became the most important creative project of his work to date.
