I did my undergrad at La Trobe University. I left and applied it to Monash to do law science, but lasted about a month there. My group is doing studies looking at the effects of testosterone on muscle. Muscle is incredibly important because it keeps you upright. It's your locomotion. It protects you against diabetes. So we're interested in whether testosterone stops these changes progressing or reverses them. These are placebo control trials. Women have a 50% chance they'll get dummy therapy. But the heart muscle stuff is very interesting because this cardiac change of women with diabetes and hypertension is increasing in the community.
