I had writers block for so long trying to write the apology. I'd only really done it the previous weekend and still hadn't finished it as of that morning. Sometimes you sit down with a terrifyingly blank piece of paper and you just stare at it because nothing happens known in the writing business as the dry times. And then suddenly, uh, it opens up. For me, the credible thing also about, and the critical thing about the apology was to sit down with NFAJ. Some had been a member of the stolen generations. What happened to them? Because part of speech making is to enter into the emotional world of somebody else. Not just your own emotional world.
