A systematic review looked at studies using mindfulness based interventions to try to facilitate recovery from acute mental fatigue. Results were generally favorable, indicating that some of these mindfulness-based interventions did facilitate recovery from mental fatigue. And in some cases led to improvements in psychological and physical performance outcomes.
