The Public Service's Submissions on Carbon Capture and Storage

So this inquiry really isn't concerned with whether or not carbon capture and storage is even viable. Just we're going to put all the legislation in place to try and make it happen and to allow other projects to proceed in the meantime. Yeah, that's right. And look, I know we've got a lot of listeners in Canberra, so I really want to add in some of what the public service has had to say here. No mention of decades of failure there. The Northern Territory government made a cracker. Geoscience Australia says well over 100 more projects in the planning or construction phase. Many of these never finish but indicating that in addition to being scientifically proven CCS is commercially
