The Fed's Plan to Increase Interest Rates
I think barring Armageddon with the next jobs report, we definitely see another quarter percentage point hike at the end of July. And then I think it really becomes data dependent to see if we see a subsequent one in September. But the key is the Fed intends to continue shrinking its balance sheet. You can't run this quantitative tightening policy while you're lowering interest rates. It doesn't work. They're inherently conflicting policy levers.
