The Differences Between Cancelled Flights and Delays
If your flight is cancelled by the airline, they have to refund you or provide you an alternative flight. That is a non-negotiable and it's important if you do end up spending out of pocket. There will be times when they don't have to pay you compensation. If delays for any EU flight are more than three hours, then CA rules kick in. You can put in a claim for compensation - that can be anywhere up to £120.
