The Importance of Thomistic Realism

In this lecture I will start by defining realism in general and its opponent anti-realism. Then I will sketch the doctrine of Thomistic realism and take my cue from John Paul's and MacIntyre's reflections. Finally, I will present and discuss a number of philosophical challenges against realism as well as possible Thomistic responses to those challenges.
