Aristotle and the Theology
Thomas aquinas was one of the most influential thinkers of european history. Aquinas found a way to hack aristotle and patch holy scripture so as to make the two compatible in his metaphysics. In 12 77, just three years after aquinas died, a double condemnation was issued, both in paris by the bishop and in oxford by the archbishop of canterbury. After much bickering, the bishop compiled a final draft of 219 propositions that were condemned and whose teaching was henceforth banned.
