The Digital Dualism Fallacy
The digital dualism fallacy refers to people seeing online behaviors or interactions as being completely separate from reality. And it's seen as a fallacy, because really the two are connected in a way that we cannot separate them. I think that when I started studying racism online right a big part of what I want to understand is what does online racism tell us about the real world. You know even if you're not doing an Internet study, you have to take into account what youth are doing online.
