The First Night Defect

Think of how much time we spend sleeping I mean supposedly a third of our lives were out of it so it must be doing something important yeah. So by getting so important animals have evolved ways to do it when it's really unhelpful like dolphins and migratory birds have uni hemispheric sleep. We need kind of both working in tandem to function but we do some evidence so we do do it to a certain extent there's something called the first night defect whereby if you sleep somewhere new the first night is never as restful as your own bedroom was.
