i wonder if all knowledge must come from the senses. If we're extending our senses, is that to say that there is knowledge out there? We could get not through or senses. That t feels incomplete. But i think what we have is pretty cool. Wee started off with the senses, and we just kind of keep expanding and expanding the circle. And will we become like, the masters of every kind of force and possible sensation in the universe? I probably not. It's a long way away but it would be really amazing for us to find an alien intelligence which had its ownk way of sensing things and acquired knowledge about the universe.
Why stop at five senses? Just how much of the world can we perceive? And how much is out there that’s still out of reach, hiding in the dark?
This is the sixth and final episode of our six-part series, Making Sense.
