There are a lot of wars that are happening around the world at any time. Nobody's Arguing that the US should go to war and Ethiopia and Tigray even though that's a horrific war. We would no doubt have been killing people in Syria ourselves if we went to war in Syria. With an uncertain outcome and no obvious end state no Government and waiting to come you know take over the country So I do think that the criticism and the ferocity of the criticism that came at Obama in his later years over Syria Some of it was very appropriately just reflective of the outrage people thought about what was happening in Syria.
