The Evolution of Heavy Cavalry

The economy of Western Europe started to wither a little bit after the fall of Rome. And then to the point where it obviously collapsed. Strangely though, the individual living standards of say the small farmers actually increased over the next couple of hundred years. So on net, they actually kind of won out of the collapse of Rome. But so what happened from this point is the next new logic of violence were evolved.
