Is It a Sea Change in the Publishing Industry?
The Guardian specifically noted some of those breakout books that are driving this momentum there's the Paper Palace by Miranda Cowley Heller who's 61. Debi novel by Bonnie Garmas Lessons in Chemistry a book that's all the rage right now in the author is 66 also a terrible kindness by Joe Browning Row who's in her late 50s and the Whalebown Theatre by Joanna Quinn also 61. These these women are definitely giving hope to older authors who are wanting to enter into the space but I assume it also takes the publishing industry being more open to these voices right Brooklyn?
