The Market Breadth Continues to Be Weak
The Russell 2000 is just a stone's throw away from its 52-week lows, still showing predominant weakness in the small caps. The S&P 500 equal weight index,. which doesn't have all these big huge market cap behemoths as dominant, is 8% off of its February and March highs. And so I'm becoming incredibly cautious here. Nonetheless, Nick on page eight, we have that VIX. What's interesting is in spite of the market being heavy, it's also very quiet and volatility is somewhat still compressed.
