The Importance of a Degree in Financial Planning
I don't know that the degree really helped me get into that world so much, maybe it would have been like the last lubricant to seal the deal. It's just all networking man and just being your authentic self ... wanting to go after new things. By still retaining your old identity and your old interests and finding a way to integrate them and become a wider person in the world. That's how I met my boss and mentor in the fintech space where I've been there now 10 years from cigar lounge.
